The Eighth Doctor
1996 - 2005
Appearance:
The 8th Doctor had a bit of Victorian era towards the way he dressed when he regenerated. Granted he picked his outfit of a costume from a locker for a New Years Eve Party at a hospital but non the less. He had shoulder length, brown curly hair. He wore a velvet black coat, a shirt with a wing collar and a silk tie with a cravat.
Personality:
The 8th Doctor, was arguably the most human and romantic of all his incarnations. He encouraged those around him to seize life instead of with drawling from it. He seemed to like to give others hints of their futures.
He was the first Doctor to attract controversy when he broke the long standing taboo against becoming romantically involved with his companions, when he kissed Grace Halloway, and also when he revealed his being half human on his mother's side.
Although the 8th Doctor appeared on the screen one time in the 1996 made for TV Fox Movie called Doctor Who, he has continued his many adventures through other media.
