Hamlet Tonight on PBS starring David Tennant

From The Time Vortex

So if you are missing our favorite Doctor,David Tennant,or even going through Tennant with drawl, then here is a nice little treat for you. Tonight, on PBS' Great Performances, will be airing Hamlet starring David Tennant and Patrick Stewart for the first time here in the States. Although Tennant will not be playing the witty cheeky lovable with great hair Doctor that we all love, his performance is out of this world with his portrayal of the tortured soul Hamlet. I have not seen this yet myself so I am very much looking forward to watching it tonight then will most likely be writing my thoughts and reviews tomorrow...lol From what I hear though, Tennant spends most of his time barefoot!!! So how many of you will be tuning into PPBs to watch David Tennant's portrayal of Shakespeare's Hamlet?? Let me know in the comments.

April 28th 8:00pm EST PBS Great Performances USA
The Royal Shakespeare Company's award-winning production of Hamlet, directed by RSC Chief Associate Director Gregory Doran, stars David Tennant in the title role. Made by Illuminations, this screen version of Shakespeare's great tragedy retains the quality and tone of the critically acclaimed stage production and was filmed on location. All key original members of the cast, including Patrick Stewart as Claudius, star in this special 180-minute production, which also has the same creative team. The film is directed by Gregory Doran and designed by Robert Jones, who also designed the stage production.
