Smith Calls Billie for advice

Could the new young Doctor to be be having a bit of cold feet?! According to the Daily Star he is...lol

STRESSED Doctor Who star Matt Smith has turned to Billie Piper for advice on how to play the part.

Billie, who previously played the Doctor’s curvy companion Rose Tyler, reveals she is happily mentoring the new Time Lord.

She says: “He called me and said ‘What am I going to do?’”

Piper – who starred alongside Matt in three TV shows – tried to calm her friend’s panic.She has told him he needs no acting advice from her but is happily sharing tips about publicity demands, dealing with fans and the pressures of the smash-hit series.

Billie, 26, said: “Your life completely changes as it’s such a huge show, just about the biggest show on TV.“I had no idea what I was getting into. It’s frightening being in that kind of production and having people suddenly know everything about you. He’s just about to embark on that."

“But I’m a big fan of Matt. He’s a stirring actor and has the right energy for the part of the Doctor. The role is in good hands.”

Matt starred in an episode of Billie’s racy series Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, in which he slept with her character Belle.

Pals say he has been “in a bit of a flap” since news broke of his Doctor Who role.One said:

“Hopefully he’ll get it together by the time he starts the role properly.”

Smith who is also 26, makes his debut as the Doctor in 2010, succeeding David Tennant.
