A curious exchange involved Charlotte Church beginning:
CC: So David's leaving... (paraphrasing from here onwards) do you fancy playing the Doctor yourself?

CT: Well Russell's said there would never be a female Doctor...

Recorded either Wednesday or early Thursday evening, there can be no doubt that wires aren't being crossed here. This isn't "oh he's regenerating" while the show is recorded, this is an after the fact statement which Tate didn't acknowledge - but has the damage already been done?
