PLOT:

The Tardis takes Martha, Donna and the Doctor to a planet called Messaline in the midst of a war between Humans and the Hath. After Landing, They step out of the TARDIS and are greeted unfriendly by soldiers under the command of General Cobb, who then force the Doctor's hand in a progenation machine, which uses his DNA to create an adult soldier---Jenny. Martha becomes kidnapped by the Hath and a walls collapses between her and Donna and the Doctor. They go with Jenny and the soldiers to meet General Cobb, as Martha goes with the Hath. After the Doctor speaks to Cobb he mistakenly reveals where the source is located and argues not to have a war.

The Doctor disregards Jenny as his daughter, but becomes more enamored throughout the episode. The Doctor , Donna, and Jenny race to reach the source before Cobb and the Hath reach it. When they arrive, The Doctor sees it is a transforming device within the colonising ship. They also discover that the building was built only 7 days prior and that the Humans and the Hath breed so many generations that the real history has turned into a myth. The Humans and the Hath arrive at the same time and the Doctor explains everything to them and declares the war to be over, then releases the transforming agent.

Cobb, angry at the Doctor, Goes to shoot the Doctor but shoots Jenny instead from her jumping in front of him saving him. After she collapses in his arms, he finally calls her his daughter and they have an emotional moment together. After she dies, The Doctor, Enraged, holds a gun to Cobb's head saying "I never would" and then asks the colonists to create a joined society. At the end the Doctor takes Martha home and they say their goodbyes while on Messile, Jenny revives in front of Cline and a Hath and takes off in a ship to explore and see knew worlds.
